Massabesic Health Resources, PA is a privately owned outpatient Physical and Occupational Therapy practice. MHR was purchased by Jim Stevenson, PT and Hayes Sweeney, MPT in 2002. Shortly after purchasing the business, MHR recognized the need for greater therapeutic space and a fitness center in the Waterboro area. In 2004 MHR opened the current Physical/Occupational Therapy center which also offers a complete fitness center/gym and 20x40 foot therapeutic pool. In 2005, MHR opened a second outpatient Physical Therapy clinic in Springvale.
Whether attending MHR as a PT/OT patient or fitness member, you can expect to find friendly staff, a clean and spacious training environment, and highly educated clinicians. MHR staff utilize a variety of skills and techniques to reach each patients goals and functional demands. Clinical sessions may consist of manual treatments, skilled therapeutic instruction and education, optional use of 90-degree therapeutic pool, and various modalities which have been researched and applicable to your care.
