Jim Stevenson

Jim Stevenson PT, FAAOMPT

Jim graduated from Northeastern University in 1993 with a BS in Physical Therapy. He has worked in outpatient orthopedics for the majority of his career. He is co-owner of Massabesic Health Resources with Hayes Sweeney, MPT. He has always been interested in manual therapy and received a Fellowship in Orthopedic Manual Therapy in 1999 from the Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy in Woburn, Massachusetts.

Jim continues to strive for the best outcomes for his patients through a hands-on approach and exercise. He is a believer of evidence-based PT examination and treatment and is an avid professional journal reader which helps him stay abreast of the current best practices for his patients.

When not in the clinic Jim enjoys spending time in the mountains backcountry skiing, mountain biking and hiking with his two children and icelandic sheepdog.

Hayes Sweeney

Hayes Sweeney, MPT

Hayes Sweeney received his Master's of Science in Physical Therapy from University of St. Augustine, Florida in 1999. In December of 2000, Hayes began working at Massabesic Health Resources following his employment at an Out-Patient Sports & Orthopedic Center. He is co-owner of Massabesic Health Resources with Jim Stevenson, PT, FAAOMT. His special interests are in the fields of Sports Medicine & Orthopedic Settings as well as Fitness and Wellness throughout the life span. Hayes has continued to devote himself to advancing his manual skills and continuing his professional growth during his time with Massabesic Health Resources as a Physical Therapist and Owner.

Deidra Ouellette

Deidra Ouellette, PT, DPT

Deidra Ouellette, PT, DPT, is a physical therapist with experience treating patients with orthopedic injuries, neurological conditions and geriatric related conditions. She earned her bachelor's degree in Medical Biology/Health Sciences from the University of New England in 2009 and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of New England in 2012. In addition to helping patients understand their diagnosis and treatment plans, she has an incredible talent for making patients feel comfortable and relaxed. She believes in motivating patients, giving them the tools they need to be successful during their rehabilitation, and to continue to maximize their function long after they are discharged from physical therapy.

In addition to her school studies, Deidra has developed more skills through continued education in LSVT Big (a Parkinson's specific exercise program), shoulder and knee rehabilitation, and fall prevention in the elderly. Deidra has great comfort and passion for working with patients of all ages.

Cory Carcoux

Cory Marcoux, PT, DPT

Cory Marcoux, PT, DPT earned her Bachelor of Science in Applied Exercise Science from the University of New England in 2013 and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of New England in 2016. Cory began her time at Massabesic Health Resources (MHR) as an intern in 2012, completed her first graduate clinical there in 2014 and has been working full time since graduating in 2016. She believes in patient-centered care, focusing on getting patients back to the activities they enjoy the most and giving them the tools they need to be successful during and after their rehabilitation.

Since graduating, Cory has completed additional coursework in Functional Dry Needling, the Pelvic Floor, Concussion Management and Elevating Practice in Orthopedic Physical Therapy of the Spine and Upper Extremity. On the weekends, Cory enjoys spending time with her husband, son and daughter in Hollis.

Holley Sirois, PT, DPT

Holley Sirois, PT, DPT

Holley Sirois, PT, DPT earned her Bachelor’s degree in Applied Exercise Science from the University of New England in 2019 and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of New England in 2022. As a former dancer and an avid runner, Holley enjoys working with athletes of all ages in order to optimize their performance and prevent injuries before they happen. Holley is also an American Institute of Balance certified vestibular therapist, working with many diagnoses including vertigo and dizziness in an effort to improve quality of life for people of all ages. She strives to provide effective patient centered care, focusing on giving patients the tools they need to be successful in returning to the activities they love.

Jacqueline Guillemette

Jacqueline Guillemette, OTR/L, CHT

Jackie HAS been an Occupational Therapist since 1993. She achieved the recognition of a Certified Hand Therapist in 2001 and is currently the only practicing CHT in York County. A CHT specializes in treating hand and upper extremity conditions. As a CHT she is required to demonstrate continued professional development and competency by recertifying every five years.

She constantly strives for excellence in patient care and is able to provide our community with professional and highly skilled, outpatient therapy services. She has passion for her work as a therapist, is reliable and efficient. She can fabricate splints, if needed, quickly and creatively.

In addition to many continued educational courses she has taken over the years, she was an adjunct instructor for the University of New England graduate-level Hand Therapy/Upper Extremity Course for 4 years time.

She enjoys running, exercising, downhill skiing, crafting and spending time with family and friends.

Certifications include: CPR, Certified Hand Therapist since 2001, State of Maine License OT574 since 1994, NBCOT since 1994, Montreal Cognitive Assessment Certified in 2020.

Jacqueline Guillemette

Kate Champagne, MsOT

Katie Champagne is an occupational therapist who completed her bachelors/master’s degree at the university of New Hampshire in 2021. Katie recently joined the Massabesic Health Resources team in July.

She believes in the power of “doing”. She highlights this through creating and active environment in therapy that is both motivating and meaningful to each individual’s life.

When she isn’t in the clinic, she coaches a volleyball at Bonny Eagle High School. She also enjoys attending sporting events and concerts, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.

In the world of OT, Katie has experience working with individuals who have neurological and orthopedic conditions. She is also eager to dive deeper into education and research surrounding orthopedic treatment and practice.

Katie is social and outgoing and enjoys collaborating with her patients to assist them in their rehabilitation journey. Her friendly demeanor promotes a comfortable environment for therapy while her problem-solving skills and determination facilitates an active engagement in therapeutic practice.

Andrew Toothaker

Andrew Toothaker, MsPT

Andrew has been working in the physical therapy field for over 20 years. He graduated with a Masters of Science in Physical Therapy from Springfield College. Andrew loves to work with orthopedic injuries and conditions of all types but especially clients with surgeries such as joint replacements, rotator cuff repairs and spinal surgeries. He enjoys working with young athletes and getting them back into their sport or activity. Andrew understands the need for a personal touch and allowing the client to help develop their personal plan of care. He has been with the company for the past 14 years. He is very familiar with the area and the people who live here as he was a graduate of Sanford High School in 1992. Andrew currently lives in Sanford and in his free time he enjoys watching his children's sporting events and outdoor activities of hiking, running and fishing.

kyle sikes

Kyle Sikes, DPT

Kyle graduated from the University of Maine in 2011 with a B.S. in Zoology(Animal Biology) with minors in Microbiology and Exercise Science. He earned a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2021 from the University of New England.

Kyle owned and operated a local gym for several years before starting a career in PT. He has competed as an athlete in the CrossFit Northeast Regional for 4 consecutive years as an individual and once on the CrossFit 207 team. Kyle enjoys hiking, running, skiing, snowshoeing, rock climbing, gardening and carpentry.

Has experience in: MMA, Tae Kwon Do, CrossFit, Powerlifting, Olympic Weightlifting, Gymnastics, Sports Strength and Conditioning.

Clinical Interests include: PAES, Lower Extremity Orthopedics, Lower Back Pain, Sports PT, Manual Therapy.
